  • Measuring a trilogy film against the rest of its cohorts is inevitable. To my surprise, I liked this one better than the second one but not as much as the first. The first third of the movie was REALLY tasteless, but once the ball got rolling, I dug it a lot. I think it kind of dragged on longer than it needed to, but I enjoyed it because I often think that the Last Battles of the Film aren't long enough in that the action is all packed -- and resolved! -- in twenty minutes. And the suspense was done pretty well. I was mighty excited to see things like Sentinel Prime, the Arc, Optimus Prime's long lost trailer, and space bridges, but they definitely played it fast and loose with the canon...
